Safety & Silence

What is a demising wall?

A demising wall is one that separates one resident’s space from that of the other, and from the common corridor. The demising walls at The Westerly are constructed not only to provide residents with peace and quiet, but to give peace of mind knowing that they are rated to give at least 1 hour of fire protection. We will build these walls beyond what is required by the building code. Why? Because we believe that if you are going to build something build it right, with the residents in mind.
